What is the difference between MBBS in India & MD in the Philippines?

Both are a Graduate degree in Medicine. Different names and abbreviations are used in different countries. It is called MBBS in the British System of Medical Education and MD in the American System, as the Philippines follow the American Education System, they also called MD.
Both graduate degrees are awarded for physicians and doctors.
In India, MBBS is done after 10+2 wherein the Philippines it is done after BS (Bachelor of Science, like the USA) as the Philippines follows 10+4 System.
But for 10+2 students (like in India) one has to do a BS program from the Philippines before doing 4 Years MD. BS is generally is having 10 Months to 18 Months Duration, depending on University to University.
